Attorney Jaime Barron

Mr. Barron is licensed by the Texas State Bar, the Bar of the District of Columbia (Washington, D.C.) and is a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a concentration in Management and received his Juris Doctor Degree from Southern Methodist University. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Prior to starting his own law firm, Mr. Barron devoted his time and efforts to assisting the disenfranchised. He worked for Proyecto Adelante, a local non-profit agency, representing immigrants, refugees, asylees and victims of domestic abuse. Mr. Barron also worked with many of the top Immigration Law Firms in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. During his legal career, local television and radio stations and newspapers frequently interviewed Mr. Barron due to his legal expertise. He has represented thousands of individuals and businesses in all aspects of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, from investors and employment visas to deportation defense and aggravated felons. He has also worked extensively with family petitions and special programs such as TPS, NACARA, DACA, Prosecutorial Discretion, Late Amnesty among other programs. He has represented individuals in personal injury matters, incorporations, divorces, contract review, and preparation.

Despite his hectic schedule, Mr. Barron continues to serve the immigrant community by conducting frequent educational seminars at Churches, Mosques, Schools and Community Organizations. In addition to his legal capabilities, he is a former bodybuilding competitor, martial arts instructor, a black belt in Aikido and second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is also bilingual, with fluency in both English and Spanish. As an immigrant from Veracruz, Mexico, Mr. Barron has lived firsthand the process of immigration to the United States, which strengthens his understanding of the process of immigration.

Mr. Hussein Sadruddin has been practicing law in the areas of Immigration & Nationality Law and Civil Rights litigation since 1998. He is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Born in Dhakka, Bangladesh and raised in Pakistan, Mr. Sadruddin holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence and a Master of Arts in International Relations from St. Mary’s University. He also holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance, Marketing and Organization Behavior and Business Policy from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Sadruddin’s career includes working for nationally renowned organizations such as Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, a legendary civil rights organization founded on the request of President John F. Kennedy, and International Rescue Committee, an Internationally Renowned refugee re-settlement agency, founded on the request of Albert Einstein.

Mr. Sadruddin has been a recipient of several awards and grants for his work in immigration and civil rights. He has also authored several articles and manuals in the field of immigration and nationality law. Currently, Mr. Sadruddin is the Managing Attorney with the Law Firm of Jaime Barron, P.C. Mr. Sadruddin speaks English, Urdu, and Gujrati. He is authorized to practice law in all Federal Courts in Texas as well as with Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Beatriz A. Hernandez - Attorney at Law

Ms. Hernandez is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Supreme Court of Illinois. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and holds a Council Position on the State Bar of Texas Immigration & Nationality Law Section. She is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and her JD from DePaul University College of Law. Ms. Hernandez has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in all aspects of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law, from investors, business professionals and athletes, to deportation defense and aggravated felons. Throughout her career, Ms. Hernandez has successfully represented clients with a complete range of family-based immigration matters including all immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, naturalization, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, U and V visas, TPS, NACARA, VAWA, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Parole in Place, and Humanitarian Visas. Ms. Hernandez has also represented clients in complex removal proceedings before the Immigration Court. In addition, she has represented clients with Employment Based Immigration visa cases including TN, H-1B, L-1A/B, E2, O extraordinary ability athletes and I-140 cases.During her career, she has appeared on local television, radio stations and newspapers sharing her legal expertise. She has also published an article discussing Immigrant Visa options for Athletes, which appeared in an international magazine publication.

Ms. Hernandez' passion for Immigration began at an early age while she experienced first hand the immigrant experience of her own family from San Luis Potosi and Durango, Mexico. While in law school, Ms. Hernandez actively pursued opportunities in human rights, immigration and family law studying in Chiapas, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Greece and Costa Rica. During her free time, Ms. Hernandez pursues a passion for fitness and wellbeing. She is a certified Yoga teacher, a student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and bodybuilding competitor. She has also published an article for health and wellness for the American Immigration Lawyers Association. As a mother of two young daughters, she has a passion for travel and teaching her children how to be citizens of the world.

Luis Rojo - Attorney at Law

Mr. Rojo received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude and his Juris Doctor degree from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Before joining Jaime Barron, P.C. , Mr. Rojo was a Staff Attorney with Catholic Charities of Dallas where he practiced immigration law and gained extensive experience in the area of family-based immigration. In his career, he has counseled hundreds of individuals seeking immigration benefits for themselves and their families. Mr. Rojo has represented clients filing for permanent residency through consular process, and various types of adjustments of status. 

In practice, Luis has worked with foreign nationals holding various types of visas, including H-1B, F-1, K-1, B-1, and D. Mr. Rojo’s experience also includes I-601 waivers of inadmissibility, administrative appeals, as well as litigating on behalf of clients before immigration judges in court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals. When not in the office or in court, you can find Luis appearing in local media outlets, live speaking engagements, and other events coordinated to educate and inform the public about new changes in immigration law and procedure. In anticipation for what is sure to be shift in immigration policy, Mr. Rojo, along with everyone at Jaime Barron P.C. is meticulously absorbing all new regulations and procedures as the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security and State announce them. 

Mr. Rojo is admitted to the State Bar of New Jersey and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Mr. Rojo is a native of Monterrey, Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. Luis immigrated to the United States at an early age and understands the immigrant process intimately. It is his pleasure assisting the members of his community and those who will follow.

Kelley Ortega - Attorney at Law

Kelley Ortega is our managing attorney at our Washington, DC office. She is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas. Mrs. Ortega has practiced immigration law exclusively throughout her a career as an attorney. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with Emphasis in International Relations from Texas Christian University and a Juris Doctorate from the College of Law at Loyola University New Orleans. While in college, Mrs. Ortega volunteered with Proyecto Inmigrante, assisting individuals seeking naturalization. During this time she also spent a semester in Washington, DC working with the American Council of Young Political Leaders and their projects with elected officials from the U.S. and around the globe. While she was in law school, Mrs. Ortega participated in Loyola’s Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice in the Criminal Defense section where she represented individuals in criminal matters and appeals. Mrs. Ortega is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Mrs. Ortega has assisted clients with a complete range of family-based immigration matters including immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, naturalization, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, U and V visas, TPS, SIJS, and VAWA petitions. She has also represented clients in complex removal proceedings before the immigration court. Mrs. Ortega has conducted many seminars and presentations to the local community in efforts to advise individuals of their rights and protections under the law. She has also worked closely with various local law enforcements agencies in presentations with the "UNIDOS" program to bridge the gap between the immigrant community and their local police departments.

Mrs. Ortega is frequently interviewed on various television networks such as Univision, Telemundo and CNN en Español to discuss and explain matters relating to immigration law. She also conducts a weekly radio program, "Pregúntale a los Abogados," updating and informing the community on El Zol 107.9FM (Saturdays at 9:30am in the Washington DC area). Originally from Long Island, Kelley lived in Texas for many years before relocating back to the Washington DC metro area. She has strong ties to North Texas and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Mrs. Ortega is dedicated to being a constant advocate for the local immigrant community.

She is of Salvadoran descent and is fluent in Spanish and English. An avid sports fan, Mrs. Ortega enjoys cheering on TCU football, running with her husband and practicing yoga in her spare time.

Haim Vasquez received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, at the University of North Texas and his Law Degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While attending law school, he was selected to the Moot Court Staff, served on the board of the Public Interest Law Group, and participated in the Employment Law Clinic. Prior to joining The Law Office of Jaime Barron, P.C., Mr. Vasquez was an Assistant District Attorney at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He also served as the Hispanic Community Liaison for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. As such, he was tasked with developing relationships and handling issues affecting the Hispanic community throughout Dallas County. He was a participant of the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas Class of 2013-2014. Mr. Vasquez is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern District of Texas. He is a member of The College of The State Bar of Texas. Mr. Vasquez works in all immigration cases including: family immigration, business immigration and complex cases with criminal issues. 

Mr. Vasquez was born and raised in Colombia and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1999. He is bilingual, with fluency in both English and Spanish.

Priscilla Wilcox - Attorney at Law

Ms. Wilcox is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association as well as American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Wilcox earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and in Real Estate with honors from Baylor University.
Ms. Wilcox is a graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law. Ms. Wilcox is also a former member of the A&M Immigration Initiative at Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Wilcox had the opportunity to gain practical immigration experience through a summer internship at Catholic Charities of Dallas.
Ms. Wilcox’s interest in immigration law stems from the personal fact that she a first generation Mexican-American, her family being originally from Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, working out, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Josefina Louis - Attorney at Law

Josefina Louis first became interested in immigration law in 2012, through her internship at Catholic Charities Fort Worth. She was hired on after completing her internship as a part-time caseworker. During this time, Mrs. Louis was studying at the Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now known as the Texas A&M School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate in May 2014.

In November 2014, Mrs. Louis was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas, and started working for Catholic Charities Fort Worth as a staff attorney. Mrs. Louis moved to Houston in 2015 where she worked for Catholic Charities Houston as a senior staff attorney until she joined Jaime Barron, P.C. 

Mrs. Louis continues to be committed to immigration law. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Also, Mrs. Louis is a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Vanessa Ruiz - Attorney at Law

Ms. Ruiz received her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from Baylor University. She received her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016. Ms. Ruiz is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Dallas Bar Association, and the Aggie Bar Association. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.Ms. Ruiz was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, a prominent Hispanic community just minutes from the Mexican border, where she became keen to the immigration issues surrounding Latinos. Ms. Ruiz aspired to attend law school and one day become a zealous advocate for the members of her community.

During her time at Baylor, she spearheaded an organization designed to recruit minority students to the university in order to increase diversity and promote cultural acceptance. In law school, Ms. Ruiz worked with various District Attorney’s offices where she frequently translated for Spanish-speaking crime victims and witnesses. She also sought to prevent injustices by participating in the Innocence Clinic where she reviewed cases of convicted persons who claimed they were wrongfully imprisoned. One of the cases she worked on led to a vacated judgment and a wrongfully convicted man was released from prison after 20 years. Prior to joining Jaime Barron, P.C. Ms. Ruiz gained experience while working at other immigration law firms. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, taking her dogs to the dog park, and spending time with family and friends.

Aaron Tellez - Attorney at Law

Attorney Tellez received his bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his Juris Doctor from the Valparaiso University School of Law. Before starting with Jaime Barron PC., Mr. Tellez was a law clerk for Catholic Charities of Dallas and the National Immigration Justice Center in Chicago, where he assisted in legal matters and interpretation of immigration laws, and where he gained experience in the area of family immigration law. In his career, he has advised people wanting to obtain immigration benefits for themselves and their families.

Attorney Tellez is licensed by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association. Attorney Tellez is originally from Waco and studied in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico for four years where he learned to master Spanish. He personally understands the immigration process and its laws.

Attorney Tellez helped clients to obtain their permanent residences through the consular process and through adjustment of status. Before, graduating from law school he represented Asylum cases where he obtained good results for his clients. Likewise, Mr. Tellez has obtained experienced in I-601 Waivers cases as well as process removal cases. Mr. Tellez is a very involved person in the immigrant community, appearing in radio interviews, newspapers, and even phone tanks to answer questions from the community. Attorney Tellez, like the rest of our team, is constantly studying and assimilating in the new Federal rules and processes.


Edelio Finales - Attorney at Law

Edelio Finales Pereles is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing major from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and his Juris Doctor from the School of Law of the same university.

During his studies in Law, he participated in the school's Legal Assistance Clinic program, helping people with limited resources with legal civil matters. Before joining the Jaime Barron P.C. team, he worked as a lawyer in Puerto Rico and later in another immigration firm representing immigrants before the immigration court. Mr. Finales was born and raised in Puerto Rico so he speaks English and Spanish fluently. In his free time, he likes to cook, watch sports and travel.


Marissa Daniels - Attorney at Law

Ms. Daniels is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. Ms. Daniels received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law. As a law student, Ms. Daniels served as Staff Editor for the Administrative Law Journal, an academic journal. She also served in official capacities in several student organizations and served as Vice President of the Hispanic Law Student Association for two years. Ms. Daniels served as a student attorney in the Advanced Dispute Resolution Clinic during her last year in law school.

Prior by joining Jaime Barron, P.C., Ms. Daniels worked as a Staff Attorney at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (“RAICES”) in Fort Worth, TX. Ms. Daniels has experience in a variety of immigration cases, including; family-based petitions, waivers, DACA, U-visa, Special Immigrant Juvenile visas, asylum, and adjustment of status.

In her spare time, Ms. Daniels enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Ms. Daniels is fluent in English and Spanish.

Attorney Christina Contreras received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas Pan American in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of A&M School of Law. Before starting with Jaime Barron's office, Attorney Contreras was an attorney for RAICES in Fort Worth where she helped several immigrants resolve their immigration matters. She has experience in various areas of immigration law, including family petitions, waivers, DACA, U Visa, Youth Visa’s, Asylum, and status adjustments.

Attorney Contreras is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. She was raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. While studying law at A&M School of Law she participated in the Family Law Clinic where she assisted Spanish speaking clients with family-related legal issues; including child custody, child abuse, and divorces. She was a leader in the Hispanic Law School Association and has experience as a legal assistant. She also volunteered with RAICES and MOSAIC Family Services throughout her academic career. In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi novels, spending time by a lake (or any water), and enjoying her family. She strives to help her clients achieve the American Dream

William Humble - Attorney at Law

Mr. Humble is licensed by the California State Bar, and has been a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He graduated from the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy (J.D. 2002). He is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. He has devoted his entire legal career almost exclusively to representing clients in matters of U.S. immigration and nationality law, helping families and employers with their loved ones and employees who are located all across the United States and, of course, in other countries. Prior to joining Jaime Barron, P.C., Mr. Humble founded American Visa Solutions, after having worked for firms in New York City, Boston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas. Mr. Humble handles immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, employment-based and family-based cases, as well as citizenship, asylum, and both trial and appellate litigation (both in person and telephonically).

Mr. Humble represents clients before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of Justice.Mr. Humble is fluent in Spanish, having lived and studied in Costa Rica. His articles have appeared on Immigration Lawyers Web, and his speaking engagements have included live radio call-in programs (in English and in Spanish). He serves as Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law for his alma mater. He and his wife enjoy the adventure of activities and events with their four children.

Joshua Ramirez - Attorney

Mr. Ramirez is licensed by the Texas State Bar and is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Aggie Bar Association. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Staten Island, a part of the City University of New York, and his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. He is Bilingual in English and Spanish. He is proud of both Puerto Rican and Mexican descent and grew up in New York City. His passion for immigration stems from his professional experiences with the immigrant communities in New York and personal ties such as his family in Mexico and legal permanent resident grandfather.

During Law School, Mr. Ramirez was the President of the Hispanic Law Student Association (now the Latinx Law Student Association) and participated in the Immigrant Rights Legal Clinic. He also interned with the Executive Office of Immigration Review in San Antonio, RAICES in Fort Worth, and the Dallas Public Defender's Office where he assisted their Immigration Specialist in reviewing the immigration consequences of criminal convictions.

In his free time, Mr. Ramirez likes to travel with his family, play guitar, a volunteer with his church and is a Board Director/Marketing Chair of a non-profit called Benny's Books.

Rafael Nieto - General Manager

Mr. Nieto is a licensed attorney in Mexico and he received his law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. He received his L.L.M (Masters in International and Comparative Law) from Southern Methodist University (SMU) – Dedman School of Law in 2003.  Prior to joining the private bar, Mr. Nieto worked for Catholic Charities–Immigration and Counseling Services where he worked as an accredited Immigration Counselor for more than 3 years. Aside from immigration counseling, he was the outreach coordinator responsible for presentations in the community regarding immigration issues. After his work with the non-profit sector, Rafael worked with various renowned law firms in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law.  He has worked with other immigration law firms including Cedillo-Pereira & Cedillo, P.L.L.C. and Reina & Associates. Mr. Nieto has over 10 years of experience in Immigration Law prior to his work at the law firm of Jaime Barron, P.C. He is a senior legal assistant and office manager with Jaime Barron, P.C.  Aside from his expertise and understanding of the complex U.S. Immigration Law, Rafael also provides constant direction, guidance and legal advice in Mexican Law.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.
